The Service Technician is responsible for the repair, maintenance, and replenishment of crates and packaging materials used in cleanroom and logistics operations. This role ensures all crates meet quality, cleanliness, and functionality standards before being reused in production or shipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect crates and packaging materials for damage, wear, or contamination Repair crates using hand tools and basic equipment Replace or replenish crate components as needed (liners, foam, labels, etc.) Clean and sanitize crates to meet company and cleanroom standards Ensure all crates are properly labeled and documented Maintain organized inventory of crates and materials Follow all safety and cleanroom handling procedures Report damaged or unusable materials to supervisor Assist with loading, unloading, and moving crates as needed Support general warehouse or operational tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
Previous experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or maintenance preferred Experience with hand tools and basic repairs Ability to lift, push, and carry up to 50 lbs Comfortable standing, bending, and performing repetitive tasks Strong attention to detail and quality standards Ability to follow instructions and work independently Reliable with strong attendance and punctuality
Preferred Skills:
Basic mechanical or maintenance experience Familiarity with packaging materials or crate systems Experience working in fast-paced environments
