) In this hands-on role, you will diagnose, install, and maintain systems ranging from traditional wood-burning stoves to modern gas, electric, and decorative units. Bring your mechanical problem-solving skills, quality craftsmanship, and commitment to safety!
What You'll Do Service & Install:
Diagnose, repair, and install gas, electric, and , resolving issues with burners, igniters, valves, and ventilation.
Troubleshoot:
Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to resolve complex technical issues.
Maintain:
Perform preventative cleanings, safety inspections, seal replacements, and system tune-ups to extend unit lifespans.
Customer Support & Admin:
Educate homeowners on safe unit operation, clearly document service history after each visit, and guide junior technicians on site.
What You Bring Industry Experience:
Strong preference for direct service/installation experience in the fireplace, home, and hearth industry (especially with brands like Lopi and Kozy Heat).
HVAC/Appliance Background:
Proven, hands-on experience in HVAC or Home Appliance repair and installation is highly desired.
Technical Aptitude:
Highly comfortable reading and applying wiring diagrams, schematics, and mechanical plans.
Professionalism:
