Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a Bicycle Builder to join our Middletown team. The ideal candidate will possess some mechanical knowledge and technical ability. This role includes but is not limited to: building all varieties of bicycles; assisting the service team as needed; changing flats; sweeping and maintaining a clean service area. This is an opportunity for the right individual to learn about bicycles, gain mechanical skills and move up within our service department. Experience as a Bicycle Builder is not required; however, applicants with previous experience are welcomed. Duties Provide exceptional customer service. Build new bikes as needed for customers. Perform flat repairs on a wide variety of bicycles. Maintain a clean and safe service area. Explain repairs and maintenance needs to customers and staff. Stay updated on the latest bicycle technologies and repair techniques through our training portals. Adhere to safety protocols while working in the shop environment. Requirements Weekend availability is required. Strong mechanical knowledge or ability. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and fellow team members. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from supervisors.
