JOB SUMMARY
: Responsible for the installation, diagnoses and service of generators. Filling out work orders, submitting warranty claims and talking to technical support on issues. Informing customers of work performed, any issues, submitting quotes and taking payments.
ESSENTIAL FUNTIONS
Service and install auto standby residential & light commercial generators Perform certified start-ups and registration of Generac & Kohler generators Submit warranty paperwork Familiar with electrical circuitry and control wiring Understand all state and national codes Maintain vehicle warehouse inventory and keep organized Rotating on call schedule for weekends, evening and holidays Available during high demand times and able to work additional hours Miscellaneous duties as required

REQUIRED EDUCTION & EXPERIENCE
Current technical certification from major generator manufactures Valid driver's license Forklift certification
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
100% field work. Working inside climbing up and down stairs to basements, attics, crawl spaces and other tight and confined spaces. Working outside in all weather conditions. Climbing and working from ladders. Driving a service vehicle to calls, getting in and out of a truck and getting tool and materials in and out of truck. Working with and exposed to hazardous materials daily.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, twisting, lifting and pulling of parts and equipment. Must have the ability to lift and/or move items up to 85 pounds. The position requires employee to regularly talk and hear.
