Roto-Rooter is seeking motivated, hands-on individuals to join our team as Drain Technicians . Whether you're an experienced pro or just starting your career, we'll provide the training, tools, and opportunities you need to grow and succeed. As a Drain Technician, you'll play a key role in helping customers solve real problems in their homes and businesses—all while building technical expertise and a stable, long-term career.
Responsibilities:
Perform drain cleaning using cable machines, jetters, and related equipment. Diagnose and clear blockages in residential and commercial plumbing systems. Conduct sewer camera inspections and document findings. Deliver excellent customer service and explain recommended solutions. Complete job notes, service tickets, and required documentation accurately. Maintain equipment, follow safety procedures, and keep vehicles/tools in good condition. Valid driver's license with a good driving record. Strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and willingness to learn. Ability to work independently and problem-solve in the field. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in tight or physically demanding spaces. Experience in drain cleaning, plumbing, or maintenance (preferred but not required).
