Overview Join our dynamic automotive team as a Service Technician Level 1 and kick-start your career in vehicle repair and maintenance! As a Service Technician Level 1, you will assist with routine vehicle repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance tasks, gaining valuable experience working with a variety of automotive systems. Responsibilities Perform basic vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire services, and brake repairs under supervision Assist with diagnostics using automotive electrical systems and schematics to identify issues Support more experienced technicians with repairs on transmissions, powertrain components, suspension systems, shocks & struts, and wheel alignments Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools safely and effectively Follow manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols during all repair procedures Maintain detailed records of work performed and communicate findings clearly to team members Contribute to vehicle inspections and ensure all mechanical systems meet quality standards before returning vehicles to customers Qualifications Prior experience working in the automotive repair industry or dealership environment is highly preferred Basic mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical components Familiarity with automotive schematics and diagnostic procedures is a plus Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and vehicle maintenance tasks Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety guidelines diligently Valid driver's license; ASE certification or equivalent automotive certifications are advantageous but not mandatory for entry-level applicants Embark on a rewarding career path where your skills grow daily!
