JOB DESCRIPTION

SG Bike Repair is a service provided by Student Government to facilitate a convenient location for cyclists to get their bikes repaired. The student assistant is a key support staff member within SG Bike Repair. Bike Repair is located on the ground floor of the J. Wayne Reitz Union. Operate the front counter area and serve as cashier on point-of-sale register Close Bike Repair shop and reconcile daily reports Maintain, organize, and inventory all equipment and workspaces within Bike Repair Monitor Bike Repair for vandalism and functionality and reports any Bike Repair issues or equipment failures to the Supervisor. General clerical and maintenance duties including: answering phones, checking voicemails, picking up trash as needed, cleaning counter area Communicate with supervisors, noting problems that arise during shifts, equipment failures and other issues that affect the smooth operation of the Bike Repair. Complete all training requirements upon being hired in a timely fashion Ability to commit to working 10-20 hours per week Other duties as assigned

EXPECTED SALARY

$16/hr

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
