Job Title:
APU/Repair Service Technician Employment location: Miramar, FL Summary Aviation technician troubleshoots, repairs, and/or overhauls, and test aircraft components to include the removal and reinstallation of all sub-components. Receives technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Work involves disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and test of those components serviced and piece parts of the repair station manual.
  • Applies technical knowledge of aircraft components in determining equipment malfunctions.
  • Applies required expertise in restoring equipment condition and or operation.
  • Applies comprehensive technical expertise to solve moderate to complex problems by interpreting technical documentation such as blueprints or manufacturer's manuals.
  • Will be required to make entries in work order documentation for work performed.
  • Provides other duties as needed and assigned.
  • Understand and perform functions in accordance with FAA, EASA, AS9110, and ISO9001 Standards
