Job Description Help for Job Description. Opens a new window. Optical Tooling Technician 2nd Shift 3PM til 1:45AM Pay - $19/hour with an 8% rate differential. Kelly Services is currently seeking an Optical Tooling Tech for one of our top clients in Jacksonville, FL.
POSITION SUMMARY
- Under general supervision performs all responsibilities necessary to operate, troubleshoot, adjust, and maintain the diamond turning lathes and metrology equipment.
Optical Tooling:
Tooling production Throughput/Yield Quality Tooling metrology Operate, troubleshoot, adjust, and maintain the diamond turning lathes and metrology equipment.- Perform a variety of tasks needed to monitor and adjust the process to improve quality.
- Assist with Preventative Maintenance of equipment.
- Monitor equipment and process status for new products.
- Perform routine cleaning and non-routine maintenance with adherence to all safety policies and procedures.
- Monitor and adjust the process to improve throughout.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot the equipment while adhering to all safety procedures in the Optical Tooling area.
- Perform routine cleaning and clearing of equipment.
