Full Job Description Company Overview:

Kitchen Ventilation Solutions is a leading provider of commercial kitchen hood repair and maintenance services. We take pride in delivering top-tier service to our clients and are looking for a dependable, mechanically skilled technician to join our growing team.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Service Hood Technician to service and repair commercial kitchen ventilation systems. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the physical ability to work in a variety of environments. Prior experience in the ventilation or HVAC industry is a plus. Pay starts at $20.00 depending on experience could be more with bonus potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform repair and maintenance on commercial kitchen hood ventilation systems Accurately diagnose problems and explain repair needs to customers Travel to multiple job sites daily (routes assigned each day) Work safely at heights and in varied climates (hot, cold, humid, etc.) Lift 50+ lbs independently on a regular basis Communicate clearly and professionally with customers Collect payments and provide accurate service reports Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to safety protocols Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times

Requirements:

Mechanical aptitude and repair experience required!! Must be comfortable working at heights and on ladders Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (50+ lbs) Clean driving record required Strong communication and customer service skills Dependable and self-motivated Willingness to work in varying weather conditions Ability to learn quick and make decisions quickly if needed. Experience in the ventilation or HVAC industry is a strong plus Having your own pickup truck is a plus

Schedule:

Full-time position. Time will vary. Can be anywhere from 6am - 8pm .
