Job Description
Richmond Hill Handyman is hiring an experienced, well-rounded technician to join our field team. We need someone who can work independently on medium-skilled repairs while also supporting our lead technicians on larger projects. This person should take direction well, communicate clearly, use good judgment, and stay productive without constant supervision. Responsibilities Complete general home repairs and renovation tasks Perform basic carpentry, drywall repair, and painting Assist lead technicians with more advanced work Complete assigned tasks independently and to a professional standard Prepare tools and materials for each job Keep work areas, tools, and company vehicles clean and organized Communicate questions, progress, and material needs promptly Adjust priorities when the needs of the team or client change Provide professional and respectful customer service Requirements Residential repair, maintenance, construction, or renovation experience Basic carpentry skills Ability to complete basic drywall repairs Ability to paint neatly and professionally Working knowledge of common tools and repair terminology Good problem-solving and decision-making skills Dependable, hardworking, and able to remain level-headed under pressure Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to perform the physical duties of the position Ability to pass a background check Tile experience is strongly preferred, especially layout, cutting, installation, grouting, and minor repairs. Compensation The posted pay range is a starting range based on experience and current skill level. Compensation can grow for the right person who performs well, develops additional skills, and fills a valuable role on the team.
