Full Job Description Job Summary:
Trinity Trailer is seeking a new team member to join the Service team in Boise, Idaho. This position fulfills an essential role in the trailer building and maintenance process by building and repairing components of the trailer with precision and care. The ideal candidate for this position is a skilled welder, is motivated by meeting their goals, and is hungry to learn and grow. Salary depends on experience and skill level.Essential Responsibilities:
Perform MIG welds, such as vertical and horizontal fillet welds, with a high degree of quality and according to company standards Weld, install, and repair components of the trailer according to blueprints and technical schematics Complete service work to the schedule set by the Service Manager Adhere and uphold a high level of safety in all aspects of the job Ensure all jobs meet Trinity quality standards Types of work regularly completed by service technicians includes: electrical, ABS, air, and hydraulic components, test brakes, axle and suspension maintenance, dismount/mount tires and wheels, weld, cut, and fabricate parts Keep the shop and work areas clean and orderlyExperience and Education:
Ability to perform high quality welds, and previous experience welding professionally Proven success with mechanical aptitude Experience working to a schedule, successfully Prior experience repairing hydraulic and pneumatic systems Perform work as outlined on repair order and blueprints, with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with customer and business standards Advanced knowledge of basic hand tools and pneumatic tools Repair and test electrical, ABS, air, and hydraulic components is a plus Experience safely operating a crane is a plus High school diploma or GED equivalentJob Type:
