As a Sewer Install Lead Technician, you will play a vital role in managing and executing sewer installation projects, leading a team to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of installers on sewer installation projects, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety standards. Operate and maintain a variety of equipment, including sewer cleaning machines, rotary blades, tractors, and dump trucks. Perform sewer cleaning by removing roots, debris, and obstructions from sewer lines and drains. Diagnose and repair breaks in underground piping, including removing and replacing broken tile sections or pipes. Conduct jetting services and perform sewer linings on 4- and 6-inch piping. Handle heavy equipment for excavation, concrete replacement, and road patching as required by the job. Measure and estimate the location of sewer line breaks using appropriate tools. Maintain a safe and organized work area in compliance with company policies. Provide excellent customer service by educating customers on available services, products, and financing options. Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on machines and tools. Qualifications Supervisory or lead experience in a related field. Progressive plumbing experience; Journeyman License preferred. Minimum of 2 years of underground plumbing experience. At least 2 years of excavating experience. Lining experience is a plus but not required. Valid Driver's License required; CDL is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and education. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Commitment to safety in all aspects of work. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
