We are seeking a Service Technician to join our maintenance team at a 762-unit apartment community in Woodridge, IL. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated maintenance professional who takes pride in their work, enjoys solving problems, and is committed to delivering exceptional service to residents every day. As a Service Technician, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the community, completing service requests, preparing apartment homes for new residents, and helping ensure the property remains safe, attractive, and well-maintained. If you enjoy working both independently and as part of a team, we encourage you to apply. As a Service Technician, you will be expected to: Complete service requests and work orders in a timely and professional manner. Diagnose and perform repairs involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, drywall, and general maintenance. Prepare vacant apartment homes for new residents, including repairs, cleaning, and make-ready activities. Perform preventative maintenance on building systems and community equipment. Assist with maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of grounds, common areas, and amenities. Conduct property inspections and identify maintenance concerns before they become larger issues. Assist with snow removal, salting, and severe weather preparation when required. Work closely with fellow team members and office staff to provide an outstanding resident experience.
