Full-Time Position Summary Jeff Wyler Fort Mitchell Mercedes-Benz is seeking a skilled, motivated, and customer-focused Automotive Service Technician to join our service department. The Service Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and servicing Mercedes-Benz vehicles according to manufacturer specifications and dealership standards. The ideal candidate takes pride in their workmanship, has strong diagnostic abilities, pays close attention to detail, and is committed to providing a safe and reliable vehicle to every customer. Mercedes-Benz vehicles demand a high level of technical knowledge and precision. Key Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and scheduled services on Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle concerns. Perform inspections and identify additional maintenance or repair needs. Accurately document diagnostic findings and recommended repairs. Complete repairs according to Mercedes-Benz factory specifications and dealership procedures. Utilize factory service information, diagnostic equipment, repair manuals, and technical resources. Perform warranty and customer-pay repairs accurately and efficiently. Conduct multi-point inspections and communicate vehicle condition to the service advisor. Maintain accurate repair orders and technician documentation. Perform road tests when necessary to verify repairs. Properly use and maintain dealership tools, equipment, and diagnostic systems. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all dealership safety procedures and OSHA requirements. Stay current with Mercedes-Benz technology, systems, technical service bulletins, and repair procedures. Participate in manufacturer and dealership training programs. Work collaboratively with service advisors, parts personnel, technicians, and management. Protect customer vehicles and dealership property throughout the repair process. Maintain professional standards and consistently produce quality workmanship. Automotive technical training or equivalent hands-on experience. Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills. Ability to diagnose electrical, mechanical, and computer-related vehicle systems. Ability to use modern automotive diagnostic equipment. Basic computer and technology skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Ability to safely lift, move, and work around automotive components and equipment. Commitment to maintaining a safe and professional work environment. Preferred Qualifications Mercedes-Benz dealership or European automotive experience. Mercedes-Benz certification or factory training. ASE certifications. Experience with advanced electrical and diagnostic systems. Experience with hybrid or electric vehicle systems. Experience using OEM diagnostic software and scan tools. Formal automotive technology education. Previous dealership technician experience.
