Job Title:

Service Technician Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Service Technician to join our team. You will be working day shifts from Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial and commercial overhead doors and loading docks. You will work with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, handling electrical tasks ranging from 110 Volts to 480 Volts. This position requires interaction with customers to understand and address equipment issues. A minor aspect of the role includes performing mechanical repairs on forklifts. Responsibilities Install and repair industrial and commercial overhead doors and loading docks. Troubleshoot and maintain dock equipment, including mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Handle electrical tasks including motor controls up to 480 Volts. Perform minor mechanical repairs on forklifts. Utilize hand tools and perform installations, wiring, and fabrication. Read blueprints and schematics for field service and preventative maintenance. Interact with customers to diagnose and resolve equipment issues. Climb ladders and lift heavy equipment with the aid of lifters and hoists. Essential Skills Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Valid driver's license. Ability to climb ladders and work at heights up to 40 feet. Additional Skills & Qualifications Mechanical aptitude. Experience with welding and the use of hand tools. Ability to read blueprints and schematics. No formal education or certifications required. Why Work Here? This role involves daily travel and outdoor work. The position is physically demanding, with responsibilities including lifting equipment and maintaining vehicles. A company truck is provided for work purposes, but personal use is not permitted. Steel-toed shoes are required. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Morgantown, KY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $41600.00

  • $49920.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
  • Senior Tech's make up to $30/HR
  • All training is in house

May do PM work one day and installation the work the next. There is room for advancement if someone is ambitious. They will train with someone for up to 9 months on the job before they are working on their own They will get a .50 cent raise after 90 days if they are meeting performance expectations If they get welding certifications they will give them a $1 pay increase If they ever have to work a Sunday, they will give them Monday off They accrue Paid time off

  • every 30 days they work they earn half a day of vacation They accrue 2 weeks after their 1st year If they receive an offer, they will be asked to fill out an application and info for a DMV background check to make sure they can be insured to drive their company vehicle.
