Service Technician -
Oil & Propane Pay:

Are you a skilled technician who enjoys solving problems, working with your hands, and helping customers? We're looking for an experienced Oil & Propane Service Technician to join our growing team. In this hands-on role, you'll install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair oil and propane heating systems and related equipment for residential and commercial customers. What You'll Do Install, maintain, diagnose, and repair oil and propane heating systems, appliances, and related equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and system diagrams. Perform routine inspections to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently. Service HVAC systems, refrigeration units, appliances, and other mechanical equipment. Complete accurate service documentation and maintain detailed records of work performed. Safely operate company vehicles while traveling to customer locations. Communicate clearly with customers, explaining findings, repairs, and recommendations. Assist with new equipment installations in residential and commercial settings. Follow all safety protocols, industry standards, and company procedures. What We're Looking For Maine Journeyman Oil & Propane Licenses required Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Reliability for working "on call" a minimum of 13 weeks per year Experience as a Service Technician working with oil, propane, HVAC., appliances, or related mechanical systems. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation. Ensure timely and complete documentation of all work orders on a daily basis Experience servicing HVAC equipment, and appliances is highly desireable Knowledge of maintenance and repair operations; construction experience is preferred Strong customer service and communication skills. Knowledge of propane and oil system safety practices. Industry certifications are are important. Team-oriented mindset with leadership potential and a commitment to continuous improvement.
