A Precision or Fine Instrument Repairer makes, calibrates, repairs, maintains, adjusts and installs mechanical watches and clocks, and nautical, meteorological, optical and other precision instruments and equipment, and sets them for correct performance.
Techshack is hiring a skilled and motivated Phone & Electronics Repair Technician for our Liberty location. This hybrid position includes device repair AND front-end sales support. Soldering experience is required — especially for motherboard and game console repairs (PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo). If you're confident with tools, love fixing tech, and can work directly with customers, this is the role for you.
What You'll Be Doing:
Device Repairs Repair phones, tablets, laptops/PCs, and game consoles Perform screen replacements, battery swaps, charge port repairs, motherboard fixes, back glass, and more Complete repairs same-day when possible Keep accurate inventory and repair logs Maintain a clean and efficient workstation Sales Support Assist walk-in customers with phone purchases, service plans, and accessories Educate customers on current promotions and options Meet sales goals for devices, plans, and add-ons Contribute to store upkeep and operations
Requirements:
Must have prior repair experience (phones, tablets, consoles, etc.) Must be comfortable with soldering and motherboard-level work Strong troubleshooting and attention to detail Great customer service and communication skills Able to multitask between repair work and customer-facing sales Flexible schedule (some weekends required) Sales experience is a plus
