Electronics Repair Technician The Panther Group is hiring an Electronics Repair Technician for a client in the Albany, NY area. This is a W2 position paying $21.00 per hour. The Electronics Repair Technician will test, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electronic components and equipment. The ideal candidate has hands-on electronics repair experience, strong soldering skills, and the ability to troubleshoot electronic systems down to the component level. Responsibilities Test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic components and equipment. Diagnose issues down to the component level. Read and interpret electronic schematic diagrams. Perform surface-mount and through-hole soldering and de-soldering. Use electronic test equipment, including oscilloscopes, signal generators, and voltmeters. Follow established quality standards and repair procedures. Accurately document completed repairs and test results. Handle hard drive devices while following ESD procedures and standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all applicable warehouse and workplace safety requirements. Work independently and as part of a team. Required Qualifications Hands-on experience repairing electronic components and equipment. Strong understanding of electronic circuits, components, and basic electronics theory. Experience troubleshooting electronics to the component level. Proficiency with soldering and de-soldering techniques, including surface-mount and through-hole components. Experience using electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and voltmeters. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good computer skills, including accurate data entry. Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Education Two-year degree or certification in Electronics or a related field, or equivalent hands-on electronics repair experience. Preferred Qualifications Previous professional electronics repair experience. Experience working with complex electronic assemblies. Experience working in a repair, manufacturing, warehouse, or technical environment. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet productivity requirements. Work Environment Warehouse/manufacturing environment. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to bend, push, pull, twist, and reach as required. #INDEng
