Job Description

Diamond Hospitality Group is seeking a motivated Arcade & IT Technician to join our growing team. If you enjoy working with technology, troubleshooting equipment, solving problems, and learning new skills, we'd love to hear from you. Whether your experience comes from IT, electronics, arcade equipment, or technical maintenance, we're looking for someone who enjoys fixing things and is eager to grow. This position supports several of our bowling and entertainment centers, helping keep our arcade games, entertainment equipment, and IT systems running smoothly. Reporting directly to the IT Manager, you'll have the opportunity to expand your skills in arcade systems, networking, electronics, and technical support while supporting locations throughout the Hudson Valley and Danbury, CT. Position Overview As an Arcade & IT Technician, you'll troubleshoot and repair arcade games, assist with new equipment installations, provide basic IT support, and perform preventative maintenance to keep our entertainment centers operating at their best. While some experience is required, we're willing to train the right individual who has strong technical aptitude, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn. Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair arcade games and related entertainment equipment. Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections on arcade games. Assist with the installation, setup, and configuration of new arcade equipment. Coordinate with arcade vendors regarding repairs, warranty work, software updates, and technical support. Troubleshoot basic computer hardware, networking, internet connectivity, and peripheral devices. Respond to technical support requests from management and center staff. Maintain accurate service records and document completed repairs. Maintain an organized workspace and inventory of tools and replacement parts. Travel to company locations throughout the Hudson Valley and Danbury, CT, as needed to support arcade and IT operations. Qualifications Basic technical education or real-world hands-on experience with computers, electronics, networking, or mechanical repair. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to diagnose issues independently and determine appropriate solutions. Strong communication and organizational skills. Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Willingness to learn new equipment and technologies. Willingness and ability to travel between company locations as needed. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work around equipment for extended periods. Ability to safely use hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
