This is a hands-on, field-based position providing residential air duct cleaning, dryer vent cleaning, chimney sweeping, chimney inspections, and chimney repairs. We are looking for someone who is hardworking, mechanically inclined, comfortable using tools, and enjoys hands-on work. Previous experience is not required — we are willing to train the right person. Experience in chimney services, air duct cleaning, HVAC, construction, roofing, maintenance, handyman work, or another skilled trade is a plus. Our technicians work directly with homeowners, so we are looking for someone who is professional, dependable, personable, and able to communicate clearly with customers. You should be comfortable working independently, identifying potential issues, explaining recommended services or repairs, and completing work safely and efficiently. Draft Master has a high volume of work, particularly as we head into busy chimney season, and we are looking for someone who wants consistent opportunities, competitive earning potential, and room to grow with the company. Duties & Responsibilities Perform residential air duct cleaning, dryer vent cleaning, chimney sweeping, and chimney inspections Identify chimney, vent, and ductwork issues and recommend appropriate repairs or additional services Complete chimney repairs and related home-service work based on training and experience Safely operate professional cleaning equipment, ladders, hand tools, power tools, and other job-related equipment Inspect work areas before and after service to ensure jobs are completed safely, thoroughly, and professionally Clearly explain findings, recommended services, and completed work to homeowners Take before-and-after photos and properly document services performed Maintain a clean and organized work area and respect customers' homes and property Follow company procedures and all applicable safety guidelines Properly care for company equipment and tools Arrive to scheduled appointments on time and communicate professionally with customers and the office Work independently in the field while maintaining Draft Master's standards for quality workmanship and customer service Be willing to learn new services, techniques, and repair skills as needed
