Job Summary Salinas Exteriors is hiring an experienced Roofing & Siding Repair Technician to complete residential exterior repairs throughout the Toledo area. This is a hands-on position for someone who can identify exterior problems, complete quality repairs, and communicate professionally with homeowners. Responsibilities Inspect and diagnose roof leaks, siding damage, flashing issues, ventilation problems, and other exterior concerns Complete roofing, siding, soffit, fascia, flashing, gutter, trim, and minor wood repairs Perform repairs according to manufacturer specifications and company quality standards Review each work order and confirm the necessary materials and tools Pick up, load, transport, and keep track of job materials Protect the homeowner's property, landscaping, and surrounding work areas Take clear before, during, and after photos of every repair Document additional damage, material needs, and completed work Provide job updates through CompanyCam, JobProgress, or other company systems Communicate professionally with homeowners about arrival, repairs, and job completion Notify management of unexpected damage, scope changes, material shortages, or customer concerns Complete a final quality-control inspection after each repair Clean the jobsite and remove all debris, nails, and unused materials Properly maintain company tools, ladders, equipment, and assigned vehicles Follow all company and OSHA safety requirements Assist with warranty and service inspections when needed Represent Salinas Exteriors professionally at every home and jobsite

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous roofing and siding repair experience required Knowledge of roofing, siding, flashing, ventilation, leak detection, and water management Ability to diagnose problems and complete dependable, long-term repairs Comfortable working independently and managing daily assignments Comfortable working on ladders, roofs, and elevated surfaces Able to perform physical labor and lift construction materials Reliable, punctual, organized, and detail-oriented Strong customer-service and communication skills Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Able to use a smartphone for photos, documentation, and communication Must meet all applicable pre-employment requirements We are looking for someone who takes ownership of every repair from arrival through final cleanup. The right candidate will find the source of the problem, complete the repair correctly, document the work, and leave the homeowner confident in the finished result.

Pay:

$24.00 - $25.00 per hour
