This role ensures that all systems comply with local, state, and national fire safety codes and regulations. The inspector will identify potential hazards, provide corrective recommendations, and maintain detailed documentation to support safety compliance and continuous improvement. This position is key in protecting life and property by ensuring systems are up to code and functional. Responsibilities Conduct routine and preventive inspections of fire protection systems, including alarms, sprinklers, and extinguishers. Evaluate compliance with applicable fire safety codes and standards. Identify fire hazards and communicate corrective actions to facility management. Perform maintenance and minor repairs on various fire safety equipment. Maintain professionalism and deliver high-quality customer service on-site. Complete and submit inspection documentation, test results, and service reports accurately and promptly. Train less experienced inspectors on inspection protocols and procedures. Organize and utilize technical resources, documentation, and support for efficient task execution. Collaborate with safety professionals to develop or deliver fire safety training as needed. Other duties as assigned.
