Adam's Appliance Repair, Inc is seeking a dependable Service Technician to assist customers with appliance service and repair needs. The technician will inspect appliances, identify service issues, perform appropriate repairs or maintenance, and explain service work clearly to customers. This position is suited for someone who is practical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in customer locations. Key Responsibilities Inspect household appliances to identify service and repair needs. Diagnose common appliance problems using appropriate tools and procedures. Complete repairs, adjustments, and routine maintenance as assigned. Follow service information and manufacturer guidelines when applicable. Explain repair findings and recommended service to customers in a clear manner. Maintain accurate records of completed service work and parts used. Handle tools, equipment, and replacement parts responsibly. Keep the work area clean and organized during service visits. Communicate scheduling changes, repair concerns, or additional service needs to the team. Follow company safety procedures and professional service standards. Qualifications Previous appliance repair, maintenance, electrical, mechanical, or technician experience is helpful. Comfortable working with hand tools and basic diagnostic equipment. Good troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Reliable, organized, and attentive to detail. Able to communicate professionally with customers. Comfortable working independently while following service procedures. Willing to learn different appliance systems and repair methods. Able to maintain a professional and safety-conscious approach on service calls.
