SERVICE TECH
- McMinnville, Oregon 60,000-80,000 depending on experience. Looking for a competent gas service technician with a strong mechanical background, preferably in the propane gas, natural gas, HVAC, appliance repair, gas plumbing, or industrial maintenance business. As a Service Tech, you will provide industry-leading, first-class customer service. Excellent communications skills both written and verbal - maintaining strict professionalism in all customer correspondence. Installing, repairing and maintaining propane appliances; and providing service to our residential, commercial and industrial customers. Perform repairs and adjustments on propane equipment. Drive a flatbed boom truck for delivering and installing propane (LP-Gas) tanks Install and pressure test gas service lines to make sure system passes all state & local installation/permit requirements. Inspect vehicle daily and report any problems in accordance with company policy and DOT regulations.
Requirements Include:
Within first 30 days must acquire: (Class B) Commercial Driver's License (CDL) containing a Hazmat, Tank and Air Brake Endorsements and DOT Medical Card. Ability to pass pre-employment DOT physical, Drug Test and Homeland Security Background Check. Good interpersonal skills and willingness to take direction from District/Branch Manager. Physical ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds. A High School Diploma or equivalent. Excellent customer service Individual must be organized, have excellent customer service skills, and a strong sales background to help grow the business.
