Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Field Service/Break-Fix Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electronic and electrical equipment at customer sites. Your expertise will ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance of complex systems across various industries. Duties Perform on-site diagnostics and repairs of electronic and electrical equipment using specialized tools and testing devices such as oscilloscopes, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and soldering equipment Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and engineering troubleshooting documents to accurately identify issues Conduct electrical diagnostics on AC/DC systems, low voltage circuits, and electronic systems to determine root causes of failures Utilize hand tools and soldering techniques to repair or replace faulty components within electronic assemblies Test repaired equipment to ensure proper functionality according to technical specifications and safety standards Maintain detailed service reports, documentation of repairs performed, and inventory records for parts used during service calls Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly about repair processes, estimated timelines, and system performance improvements Requirements Proven experience as a service technician specializing in electronic or electrical equipment repair with a strong understanding of troubleshooting methodologies Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters for electrical diagnostics Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals accurately Hands-on experience with electrical soldering, circuit board repair, and component replacement in electronic systems Knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems, low voltage wiring, and electronic equipment testing procedures Familiarity with computer hardware troubleshooting and basic computer networking concepts is a plus Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent communication abilities to assist customers effectively Ability to work independently in the field while managing multiple service calls efficiently This role offers an engaging environment where your technical expertise directly impacts customer satisfaction.
