About the
Role:
As a Plumbing Service Technician at Howell-Chase Heating and Air in Bluffton, SC , you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems for residential clients. This position requires a deep understanding of plumbing codes, system diagnostics, and the ability to troubleshoot issues to deliver high-quality service. You will be responsible for performing routine inspections, identifying potential problems, and implementing effective solutions to maintain system integrity and customer satisfaction. Collaboration with other technicians and customer service teams will be essential to coordinate work schedules and provide timely updates to clients. Ultimately, your expertise will contribute to the company's reputation for reliability and excellence in plumbing services, supporting the overall success of Howell-Chase Heating and Air.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Valid plumbing license or certification as required by state or local regulations. Minimum of 3 years of experience in plumbing service and repair. Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and safety procedures. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and plumbing codes.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with HVAC-related plumbing systems. Additional certifications in specialized plumbing areas such as backflow prevention or gas piping. Proficiency with Service Titan or similar software. Strong customer service skills and experience working in a client-facing role. Ability to mentor junior technicians and provide on-the-job training.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair plumbing issues including leaks, clogs, and faulty fixtures in residential and commercial properties. Install new plumbing systems and components according to blueprints, specifications, and local codes.
Compensation details:
