Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, Texas Job Summary We are seeking a dependable, safety-focused Roadside Assistance Technician to provide professional mobile roadside services throughout the DFW area. This position requires strong customer service, mechanical aptitude, safe work practices, and the ability to respond efficiently to motorists experiencing vehicle-related emergencies. Primary Responsibilities Respond promptly and professionally to dispatched roadside-assistance calls. Perform battery jump-starts and battery assistance. Perform flat-tire changes using customer-provided spare tires. Provide vehicle lockout assistance using approved non-destructive methods. Perform emergency fuel delivery. Provide basic roadside diagnostics and minor mechanical assistance within company service limits. Safely operate pneumatic, electrical, and hand tools. Inspect and maintain assigned tools, equipment, and service vehicles. Follow traffic-control and roadside safety procedures. Communicate service status and complications to dispatch. Accurately document arrival times, services performed, photographs, customer authorization, and completion of each call. Maintain professional conduct and customer service standards at all times. Follow company SOPs, safety requirements, and insurer/motor-club service requirements. Requirements Valid driver's license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). Reliable transportation and ability to report for scheduled shifts. Basic automotive/mechanical knowledge or demonstrated mechanical aptitude. Ability to safely lift and maneuver approximately 50-75 lbs. Ability to work outdoors in Texas weather, including heat, rain, cold, and nighttime conditions. Ability to work around active roadways and disabled vehicles safely. Ability to use smartphones, navigation applications, dispatch systems, and digital service forms. Strong communication and customer-service skills. Dependable attendance and ability to respond to dispatched calls within required service times. Must comply with company safety and conduct policies. Must be willing to submit to pre-employment, reasonable-suspicion, post-incident, and/or other drug and alcohol testing as required by company policy and permitted by applicable law. Employment may be contingent upon satisfactory completion of applicable background screening and MVR review. Preferred Qualifications Previous roadside-assistance, automotive, tire-service, fleet, or light-mechanical experience. Experience with jump boxes, air compressors, pneumatic impact tools, jacks, tire equipment, and automotive lockout tools. Familiarity with the DFW road network. Prior customer-facing field-service experience. Entry-level candidates with strong mechanical aptitude may be considered. Training will be provided on company procedures and approved roadside-service methods.

Pay:
