Job Description

ABOUT FILTA ENVIRONMENTAL SOLUTIONS
Filta Environmental Solutions is a commercial kitchen services franchise dedicated to making kitchens faster, greener, safer, and cleaner. We build local relationships with multi-unit commercial kitchen operators and deliver specialized fryer management, oil filtration, and cleaning services with flexible scheduling and a "done right or we make it right" guarantee.
POSITION SUMMARY
The FiltaFry Technician is the face of Filta Environmental Solutions in the field, delivering professional fryer management and oil filtration services to commercial kitchen clients. This role is responsible for executing service routes with precision and care, maintaining equipment and vehicles to Filta standards, and building strong on-site relationships that reflect our commitment to making commercial kitchens faster, greener, safer, and cleaner.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Execute assigned FiltaFry service routes on schedule, delivering fryer cleaning, oil filtration, and related services to commercial kitchen clients at the highest standard of quality. Prepare for each route by confirming all required equipment, chemicals, supplies, and materials are loaded and in working order before departure. Perform fryer breakdowns, deep cleans, oil top-offs, and filtration services according to Filta's established service protocols. Maintain assigned vehicle and equipment in clean, safe, and fully operational condition — reporting any mechanical issues or maintenance needs promptly. Accurately monitor and record material and chemical usage for each job, submitting complete usage reports to the Operations Manager. Represent Filta professionally at every client location — maintaining a clean appearance, respectfulcommunication, and a positive attitude with kitchen staff and management. Identify and communicate upsell or service expansion opportunities observed during client visits to the BDR or Operations Manager. Adhere to all food safety, workplace safety, and chemical handling guidelines on every job. Uphold Filta's core values — Do The Right Thing, Passionate/Productive/Positive, Be Curious, Get The Job Done, and Improve The Lives of Everyone Around Us.
QUALIFICATIONS
Prior experience in a service, maintenance, or trade-based field role preferred — commercial kitchen, janitorial, or equipment service experience a plus. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently on a daily route. Physical capability to perform hands-on service work, including lifting and moving equipment up to 50lbs and working in hot kitchen environments. Clean, professional appearance and strong interpersonal skills — comfortable working directly with restaurant managers and kitchen staff. Valid driver's license and clean driving record required. Basic mechanical aptitude and attention to detail when servicing and maintaining equipment. Ability to follow service protocols accurately and document work and material usage for each job.
