Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Service Technician and become a vital part of maintaining and optimizing industrial equipment within manufacturing facilities. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical expertise, troubleshoot complex systems, and deliver exceptional customer service. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of machinery and electrical systems to ensure smooth operations and maximum efficiency. Your proactive approach and technical skills will help keep production lines running seamlessly while providing top-tier support to clients. Duties Conduct comprehensive diagnostics on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC systems using schematics, blueprints, and precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters. Troubleshoot equipment issues efficiently by analyzing electrical systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), hydraulics, and HVAC/R components to identify root causes. Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and adjustments on industrial machinery, including welding ( welding if applicable), equipment troubleshooting, and electrical system upgrades. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule preventive maintenance tasks. Operate scissor lifts and other industrial equipment safely to access elevated or hard-to-reach areas during service activities. Read electrical blueprints, schematics, and engineering troubleshooting guides to accurately diagnose issues and implement effective solutions. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients about technical issues, repair timelines, and maintenance recommendations. Experience Proven experience working in manufacturing facilities or industrial environments with a strong understanding of industrial mechanic practices. Hands-on experience with electrical diagnostics, equipment troubleshooting, and electrical maintenance procedures. Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and maintenance tracking. Knowledge of HVAC/R systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and schematics reading. Skilled in welding ( welding if applicable), use of precision measuring instruments (ammeters, ohmmeters), and analysis tools for electrical systems. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to perform complex troubleshooting on industrial equipment. Excellent customer service skills paired with analysis capabilities to resolve issues efficiently while maintaining positive client relationships. Ability to read electrical blueprints and schematics accurately; experience with engineering troubleshooting is a plus.
