What You'll Do As a Repair/Test Technician, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and testing enterprise server systems and components while ensuring all products meet quality and performance standards.
Responsibilities include:
Perform hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting on enterprise servers. Repair and replace components such as: Motherboards CPUs Memory (RAM) SSDs / Hard Drives Power Supplies Cooling Components Execute functional and diagnostic testing. Perform HiPot electrical safety testing . Validate hardware functionality before shipment. Install firmware and perform system updates. Configure and verify network connectivity. Work with barcode scanners and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). Read and follow repair procedures and technical documentation. Document repair activities and test results. Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams. Meet daily production and quality goals while following all safety procedures.
Minimum Qualifications Required:
Experience with Linux and Python (Required) Minimum 1 year of hardware troubleshooting experience (professional, military, technical school, or personal projects). Basic knowledge of computer hardware. Experience diagnosing PCs, servers, or electronic equipment. Basic networking knowledge (LAN, IP addressing, switches, routers). Ability to read and follow technical documentation. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in: Computer Science Information Technology Computer Engineering Electrical Engineering Electronics CompTIA A+, Network+, Linux+, Security+, Server+, or similar certifications. Experience repairing servers or networking equipment. Experience using Linux command-line tools. Experience working in manufacturing or production environments. Military technical experience is highly encouraged to apply. Work Environment Fast-paced manufacturing environment. Standing and walking for extended periods. Lifting up to 40 lbs. Working around electronic equipment and server hardware. Following strict quality and safety procedures.
