SUMMARY OF POSITION

Primary duties are cleaning and maintaining the premises and vehicles of Citibus.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Complies with all Citibus policies and expectations and models Citibus values of Respect, Accountability, Trust and Professionalism in all aspects of job performance.

Performs all assigned job duties to the best of his/her abilities while adhering to Citibus policies, procedures, practices and workplace expectations.

Properly cleans and inspects all vehicles on a daily basis.

Properly keeps the Citibus premises clean on a daily basis.

Responsible for servicing buses including fuel, oil, a/c, and water.

Responsible for completing the vehicle defect form.

Responsible for removing and replacing fare-collecting vaults.

Responsible for bus washing and interior maintenance.

Assists with other duties assigned by Service Supervisor.

Some outside working hours may be required for special events and training.

Completion of the eighth grade

Ability to follow oral and written instructions.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Level 2:

Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Level 2:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instruction, short correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Level 1:

Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divided with 10's and 100's.

Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

REASONING ABILITY

Level 2:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

Ability to deal with problems involving low concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES LICENCES REGISTRATIONS

Must have current Commercial Driver's License and be willing and able to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) within 90 days.
