A Day in the Life of an Arcade Technician/Pin Chaser On a typical day, you'll maintain and clean arcade games, monitor their performance, and make any necessary repairs. You'll troubleshoot technical issues, assist guests when they run into problems or need help picking out a prize from our redemption area, and update the Attractions Manager about where things are at with each game. You'll also support other tech projects, and help with the arcade's overall upkeep, ensuring every game is ready for fun. As a Bowling Pin Chaser at FatCats, your role involves keeping our bowling machines in top shape, solving minor mechanical issues, and performing maintenance to ensure every guest has seamless experience. You'll work hands-on with our equipment, troubleshoot issues, and even interact with guests along the way. You will start with a quick team check-in, making sure all your tools are ready for any unexpected repairs. Throughout the day, you'll monitor bowling machines for any minor malfunctions and quickly step in to troubleshooting or repair issues to keep games running smoothly. You'll also perform regular maintenance, ensuring the equipment stays in excellent shape. When needed, you'll assist the Facility Manager with projects to keep our bowling lanes and facilities in top condition. The Schedule We're busiest when others are having fun, so we need people who can work nights, weekends, and holidays. We will always do what we can to work with your schedule. Requirements Job Requirements One year of technical computer experience or relevant training Can troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, software, and hardware issues Work well with others and communicate clearly Be proactive and think ahead to see what needs to be done Manage time and tasks efficiently Be mechanically inclined and have a hands-on approach to problem-solving. Communicate clearly and engage with guests to enhance their experience. Proactively maintain cleanliness and organization in the workshop. Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
