Job Description

Position Summary Avail is seeking Marine Service Technicians to be part of a hands-on, solutions-driven team that services U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, and commercial vessels. From electric and hydraulic actuation systems to globe and gate valve repairs, your work helps ensure vessels remain mission-ready, reliable, and operational. Responsibilities Travel to client vessels and worksites to perform service, repair, maintenance, and certification activities. Diagnose and repair actuator and valve systems, including: Butterfly valves Gate valves Globe valves Perform hydraulic ram and cylinder overhauls. Conduct onboard grooms, equipment assessments, and RMVA installations. Test, inspect, and certify relief valves. Follow all company safety procedures and customer requirements while working aboard vessels and at industrial facilities. Qualifications Technical aptitude with experience working on mechanical and/or hydraulic systems. Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety. Ability and willingness to travel and work aboard ships and in industrial environments. Excellent work ethic with a focus on customer satisfaction and integrity. Preferred Qualifications Previous U.S. Navy or marine industry experience. Familiarity with Department of Defense (DoD) standards and
MIL-SPEC
