Door Shop Wild River WA Lakewood, WA Job Details Full-time 16 hours ago Qualifications Measuring tapes Personal protective equipment (PPE) adherence Wood construction materials Safety equipment Full Job Description Wild River Washington is looking for a qualified Door Shop person to add to their team in Lakewood WA. The Door Shop position is responsible for processing material through their workstation safely, efficiently, while keeping with Wild River Washington's Quality Control standards for product grade and performance. The Door Shop position will function as a key contributor of the department team focused on safely and effectively producing parts and products that will meet the needs of our customers both internal and external. Pay is DOE. This is a Monday through Friday day shift schedule.
Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Follow all safety rules and regulations, all work must be done with thinking "Safety First" Assemble pre hung units as directed on work order Make minor repairs to doors and frames as needed Manage stock frames and sills Inspect the doors for defects on all products Load trucks for outgoing shipments Order pulling General duties as assigned
Advanced Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Machine doors to specs indicated on work order Install hinges to door and hinge frame Manage release of orders to builders
Skills and Qualifications:
Good hand and eye coordination Great attention to detail Outstanding work ethic Be self-motivated Have a teamwork/positive attitude
Minimum Requirements:
Knowledge of wood species Must be a quick learner Can read tape measure Knowledge and ability to meet the physical demands and varying work environments at RVD Must be able to wear required Personal Protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods Must be able to climb stairs, stand for extended periods of time, and safely lift up to 50+ lbs.
