Roofing Supervisor / Operations Manager Summary The Roof Repair Technician is responsible for diagnosing roofing issues, performing highquality repairs, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role involves working at heights, using a variety of tools, and repairing different roofing systems such as asphalt shingles, metal, EPDM, TPO, and other materials. The ideal candidate has strong problemsolving skills, attention to detail, and prior roofing experience. Key Responsibilities Inspect residential and commercial roofs to identify leaks, storm damage, and structural issues. Perform roof repairs, including shingle replacement, flashing repair, patching, sealing, and structural fixes. Diagnose ventilation issues, moisture problems, and other related roof system concerns. Safely operate tools such as nail guns, roofing knives, ladders, and harness systems. Document repair findings with photos and written notes. Communicate clearly with customers about repair needs and solutions. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all OSHA safety standards and company safety policies. Assist with emergency/urgent repair calls as needed. Work collaboratively with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently.
Qualifications Required:
3 years of experience in roofing repair or installation. Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions. Strong understanding of common roofing systems (asphalt, metal, flat roofs). Ability to lift 50-75 lbs regularly. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred:
Experience with roof leak detection. Basic carpentry or construction background. Knowledge of local building codes.
