Health insurance Paid time off 401(k) 401(k) matching Summit Riser Systems, Inc. is seeking intermediate level of data/voice cabling technicians for our Orange County service area. We are looking for self-managed, reliable, and motivated workers. Compensation for
Technicians:
$25-$30 per Hour Based on Work History and Technical Experience.

Job Duties Include:
Installing fiber, coax and low voltage cabling within building riser systems to include cable placement, termination, testing and labeling per code and EIA/TIA industry standards. Installing structured cabling within tenant suite spaces. Cleaning up and removing abandoned cabling and equipment from within building riser systems. Opening and closing job tickets (work orders). Closing out projects with the regional manager/corporate accounting. Conducting quality control checks for our installations. The applicant should be familiar with high-rise building phone room infrastructure, MPOE's, service provider technologies, circuit extensions and proper installation methods for fiber and copper cabling. Not required for entry level.
WE WILL TRAIN
The applicant should be familiar with local code requirements as they pertain to low voltage cabling installations (i.e. suspension methods, labeling, fire stopping, etc…). Not required for entry level. The applicant should be professional, reliable, accountable and be able to meet with Summit's customers and clients in person. The applicant should be able to think independently and resolve arising issues in a quickly matter for minimum to no impact to our clients The applicant should have a reliable vehicle with the ability to carry a 6' ladder and a traditional set of tools needed to do their job.
