We are a well-established communications company seeking a skilled Telecommunications Technician for immediate hire. Send your resume to 941-296-7445 or call 941-371-5710 Summary As a Telecommunications Technician II , you will install, maintain, and troubleshoot a variety of telecommunications and low-voltage systems, including CCTV, structured cabling, and security solutions. Working alongside a lead technician, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality service to our clients. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and troubleshoot telecommunications systems (voice, data, fiber, CCTV, and low-voltage cabling) Program and install business phone systems (preferred) Read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams Perform system testing and ensure proper functionality Provide on-site service and support for clients Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with NEC standards Maintain accurate documentation of installations and service calls Travel to job sites as needed Qualifications Minimum 1 to 2 years of telecommunications experience preferred Experience with voice, data, and fiber optic cabling required Knowledge of CCTV, security systems, and low-voltage wiring Familiarity with networking and system design is a plus Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
