As TELECO continues to grow, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Access Control and Surveillance Technician to join our team in Deerfield Beach, Florida . This position offers the opportunity to work with advanced security, communications, and wireless technologies while delivering dependable solutions and exceptional service to our customers. Position Summary We are seeking an experienced technician to perform installation, service, troubleshooting, and maintenance of access control and video surveillance systems. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of relevant experience , a strong understanding of networking, and the technical ability to work with cabling, RF components, and related test equipment. Responsibilities Install, configure, service, and maintain access control systems and integrate them with existing network infrastructure. Install, configure, service, and maintain video surveillance systems and associated network components. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues involving access control, video surveillance, and network-connected equipment. Install, terminate, and test coaxial cables, fiber optic cables, and other RF components. Conduct signal testing using spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and other RF test equipment. Collaborate with network engineers, IT teams, and other technical personnel to optimize system performance and security. Provide professional and responsive customer service and technical support. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of two years of experience in access control and/or video surveillance installation and service. Strong understanding of network fundamentals and protocols. Proficiency with relevant tools, equipment, cabling, and network devices. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Relevant technical or networking certifications are a plus. Knowledge of applicable building and fire codes. Ability to work overtime, including evenings and weekends, as required based on company and customer needs. Ability to travel occasionally as business needs require. Ability to participate in an on-call rotation. Must possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
