We are hiring System Installers to install and support a variety of communications technologies including P25 radio systems, RF infrastructure, DAS/ERCES, LTE, Wi-Fi, structured cabling, and related communications systems. Travel Requirements (Read Before Applying):- Approximately 90% travel required.
- Overnight travel is expected most weeks (Monday-Friday).
- Assignments may require being away from home for one to two consecutive weeks.
- Must be available to work day, evening, overnight, weekend, and extended-hour shifts as project needs require.
- This is a field-based position and is not a remote or home-daily role.
Responsibilities:
- Install and deploy P25 radio systems, RF infrastructure, DAS/ERCES, LTE, Wi-Fi, and structured cabling systems.
- Install equipment racks, antennas, fiber, coaxial, Ethernet, grounding, and supporting communications infrastructure.
- Read drawings and technical documentation.
- Perform testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer acceptance activities.
- Complete documentation and work professionally with customers and project teams.
Qualifications:
Required:
- 3+ years of experience in low-voltage, telecommunications, RF, DAS/ERCES, structured cabling, or related installation work.
- Experience using common telecommunications installation and test equipment.
- OSHA 10 certification.
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass background and drug screening.
- Ability to travel extensively and perform physical field work.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with P25/LMR, DAS/ERCES, LTE, or other RF communications systems.
- NICET Level I+, FCC GROL, manufacturer certifications, or related industry credentials.
- Experience with RF test equipment and system commissioning.
