The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in telecommunications systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various technologies. This role requires a combination of technical expertise and hands-on experience to ensure the effective operation of communication systems. Duties Install, maintain, and repair telecommunications equipment and systems, including Data cabling, Telephony, IT, CCTV, and Access Control Systems Conduct field service operations to troubleshoot and resolve issues with low voltage wiring and cabling. Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform installations and repairs according to schematics and design specifications. Collaborate with clients to assess their needs for system design and implementation of remote access software solutions. Provide technical support for computer networking, ensuring seamless connectivity across various devices. Maintain knowledge of industry standards such as NEC regulations to ensure compliance during installations. Work with mechanical components and sensors to integrate alarm systems effectively. Assist in alarm system sales by providing technical insights and recommendations to potential clients. Document all service activities accurately for reporting purposes. Experience Proven experience as a service technician in telecommunications or related fields. Strong understanding of computer hardware and networking principles. Background in construction is advantageous for installation tasks. Ability to read and interpret technical schematics related to electrical systems and telecommunications setups. Knowledge of security protocols and procedures is essential for effective system implementation. Requirements:
Own a vehicle, 6-8' ladder, Smartphone, Laptop computer, Butt Set, Pair tester, and Basic Telecom tools.
