As a Fiber Field Technician, you will be the frontline hero ensuring seamless connectivity, supporting both wholesale and enterprise customers. Required Skills:

3 to 5 years of experience in a telecommunications environment or equivalent technical training Expertise in

DS3/DS1, SONET/DWDM

installation and maintenance Strong understanding of IP/MPLS fundamentals Proficiency with test equipment such as OTDR, OSA, DS1/3, and Ethernet testing tools Ability to analyze, monitor, and resolve network issues promptly Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Self-motivated with strong decision-making skills Excellent PC skills and strong oral and written communication Nice to

Have Skills:

Cisco or Alcatel Lucent IP certifications Experience with VOIP switching and maintenance Fiber optics splicing and maintenance knowledge SS7/STP support experience

Preferred Education and Experience:

College or technical degree in related field or equivalent experience
