A Telecommunications Field Technician telecommunications Field Service Technician installs, repairs and maintains voice, data and video systems for a company's customers at the customer site. Prepares and documents a customer's network prior to implementing telecommunication system. Installs IP, network equipment and facilities. Acts as the first point of issue resolution, responds to field engineering issues and troubleshooting telecommunication problems. May train less experienced field technicians.

Job Description

Must be able to trouble shoot, repair, install, and maintain equipment at customers locations. Must be able to travel daily to different worksites or be able to go to different states a week at a time. Must know how to use basic hand tools and power tools. Need to be able to work well with others.
