Job Description

V.I. Communications is currently seeking Low Voltage Telecommunications Techs. VI Communications is a complete design and installation contractor for data and voice networks, including fiber optic and high-speed copper installations.

Responsibilities:

Install, Troubleshoot and repair Telephone, Data and Fiber Optic Cables Installation of Surface Mount Raceway Test and certify cables with Level V test equipment Adhere to all quality and safety codes Must be able to pass hair follicle drug testing, background check and MVR check Must be able to obtain a TWIC card

Qualifications:

Previous experience in telecommunications or other related fields Familiarity with electrical schematics and blueprints Familiarity with copper & fiber optic testing equipment and hand tools Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills Experience with CCTV and/or audiovidual system installation is a plus Military experience preferred but not required

Job Type:

Full-time Pay:

$19.00 - $32.00 per hour
