In this role, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining a variety of security, surveillance, and communication systems at client sites. Your expertise will ensure that systems such as CCTV, fire alarms, access controls, and low voltage wiring operate seamlessly to meet client specifications. Duties Install and troubleshoot security systems including CCTV, alarm systems, sensors, and access control devices across multiple sites. Perform cabling, wiring, and system connections following schematics, electrical codes (such as NEC), and safety standards. Conduct system testing using remote access software and other diagnostic tools to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and provide technical guidance during installation processes. Use hand tools and power tools efficiently for construction, mounting hardware, and system setup tasks. Document installation procedures, system configurations, and service reports accurately for each project. Provide ongoing maintenance, repair services, and technical support for installed systems to ensure long-term reliability. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician or in a related field service role involving security or surveillance systems. Familiarity with ticketing software such as ConnectWise. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and technical diagrams. Familiarity with computer networking concepts, low voltage electrical wiring, and telecommunication systems. Hands-on experience with CCTV cameras, sensors, fire alarms, IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), and security system components. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools (such as drills), and construction techniques for system installation. Knowledge of NEC electrical standards and local building codes related to low voltage wiring and security installations. Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical or network issues efficiently on-site. Reliable transportation. Excellent communication skills to coordinate with clients and team members effectively. Pay:
