Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Drop Bury Contractor to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, burying, and maintaining underground telecommunications cables and fiber optic systems. Your expertise will ensure the reliable delivery of high-quality network infrastructure, supporting both residential and commercial clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, operate heavy equipment, and contribute to cutting-edge telecommunications projects that keep communities connected and powered up. Duties Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently to dig trenches for cable installation. Install, splice, and test fiber optic cables and telecommunications network cables in outdoor environments. Requirements Proven experience in field service roles involving outdoor work environments. Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operation, including excavation machinery. Familiarity with fiber optic systems installation. Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics related to telecommunications infrastructure. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, cabling techniques, and telecommunication outside plant operations. Knowledge of the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) standards for safe outdoor electrical work.
