We are an established telecommunications contractor seeking an experienced Installation Supervisor to support residential coax and fiber installation operations in the Wilmington and Jacksonville, NC markets. This position will oversee a team of approximately 3-4 Installation Technicians supporting Spectrum residential installations. The Supervisor will be responsible for day-to-day field leadership, technician performance, installation quality, safety, customer experience, and ensuring work is completed efficiently and according to company and customer standards. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in the cable, coax, fiber, telecommunications, or residential installation industry and is comfortable leading technicians in a fast-paced field environment. Responsibilities Directly supervise approximately 3-4 Installation Technicians Provide daily field support, coaching, and guidance to technicians Monitor installation quality, productivity, and customer service performance Ensure technicians follow Spectrum, company, OSHA, and safety requirements Assist technicians with difficult installations, escalations, and field issues Conduct quality checks and address performance or workmanship concerns Support new technician onboarding and hands-on training Ensure technicians have the appropriate tools, equipment, and materials to perform their work Monitor technician attendance, scheduling, and daily workload Reinforce expectations around productivity, professionalism, and customer communication Help troubleshoot coax, fiber, connectivity, and residential installation issues Communicate field issues, staffing concerns, and performance trends to management Support the team in meeting customer installation and service-level expectations Maintain accurate documentation and reporting as required Qualifications Previous experience in coax, fiber, cable, telecommunications, satellite, low-voltage, or residential installation Prior lead, supervisor, or field leadership experience strongly preferred Strong understanding of residential installation practices Ability to troubleshoot installation and connectivity issues Comfortable coaching and holding technicians accountable for performance and quality Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work effectively with technicians, customers, and leadership Basic computer and reporting skills Valid driver's license Ability to pass a background check and MVR Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
