Position Summary As a Communications Technician, you will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and support communications systems used across active energy and industrial job sites. You'll work with technologies including Starlink, LTE networks, cameras, wireless communications equipment, routers, switches, and remote monitoring systems. This role is based in the Bellaire / St. Clairsville, Ohio area , supporting operations throughout Eastern Ohio and surrounding districts. You'll travel to job sites, assist with field deployments, support rig moves when operations require it, and occasionally travel to other districts with company-paid per diem and lodging. Travel overnight when necessary Work away from home for multiple days when required Support operations in other districts periodically Travel on short notice to support operational priorities Stay overnight with company-paid lodging and per diem when assigned What We're Looking For Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions Basic computer skills Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong customer service and communication skills Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as operational needs require Preferred Qualifications Experience with telecommunications, networking, internet installation, cable, satellite, security systems, or related technical work Experience installing or supporting Starlink, LTE, networking, or camera systems Knowledge of routers, switches, access points, and wireless networks Experience working in oil & gas, industrial, construction, utility, or field service environments Electronic troubleshooting experience Technical certifications in networking, telecommunications, or electronics Technical Skills You May Learn Starlink deployment and support LTE and wireless communications systems Networking and IP-based technologies PTZ and remote monitoring camera systems Communications tower and booster installations Equipment configuration and diagnostics Cable fabrication and termination Physical and Work Environment Requirements This position is physically active and performed primarily in field environments.
