Your days won't be spent climbing from sunrise to sunset. You'll split your time between tower work and hands-on ground projects, giving you variety while building valuable skills in telecommunications. Responsibilities Climb tall structures (100 feet or more) with a 50lb load to install, replace, and repair antenna systems, equipment, and tower components. Perform routine tower maintenance and assist with construction activities under the guidance of experienced technicians. Assist with other Amplex ground-based projects, including service calls, equipment preparation, maintenance work, and other field tasks as needed. Basic use and care of hand tools and mechanical equipment. Know the hazards associated with tower climbing, construction equipment, and working on or near energized lines and equipment. Analyze situations accurately and adopting an appropriate course of action. Communicate orally and in writing. Follow instructions accurately and completing assigned course of action. Recognize safety hazards and performing duties in a safe manner. Benefits (available after 90 days of employment): $250 sign on bonus after a successful 90 days of employment!
