Role:

As a Field Technician, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining and troubleshooting our advanced electronic systems. This position offers a perfect blend of hands-on mechanical work and technical problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct preventative maintenance on proprietary electronic systems Test voltage and batteries using voltmeters (120-volt systems) Troubleshoot and resolve issues with batteries and solar panels Handle client requests and provide excellent customer service Install and maintain electronic equipment, including cameras Navigate PC systems (Windows/Linux experience a plus) Work with city-operated buses on wiring and electrical installations Interpret and follow wiring schematics

Qualifications:

Strong mechanical background (experience with small engines or auto mechanics) Proficiency with voltmeters and understanding of DC/AC voltage circuits Electrical background and installation experience (camera systems a plus) Customer service orientation with excellent communication skills Reliable, efficient, and high integrity Comfortable working at heights (up to 25ft using a bucket truck) Ability to work in various weather conditions Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to lift 50-75 lbs Willingness to travel (2-5 hours) to different sites

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM EST 30-minute lunch break Occasional weekend work (with overtime pay)
